Horseback Riding at the TA Guest Ranch is perfect for riders looking for an authentic experience on a working cattle ranch. Guests can learn about pasture rotation, check water stock tanks, fencing and grazing cows. We do not trail or work cows!
Other rides include riding out to the teepee rings that are located at the apex of our badlands. Look out onto the Bozeman Trail as the Crow Indians once did while scouting the Bozeman trail and attack travelers at Crazy Woman crossing.
Ride next to Crazy Woman Creek and see Wyoming wildlife from Mule and White Tail Deer, Badgers, Coyotes, Foxes, Sandhill Cranes and Bald Eagles.

Though it is the shortest rides that we offer at the TA Ranch, it is still packed with amazing scenery. This is a great ride length for those who have never ridden before and want the experience, or just want to fit a quick ride into their busy schedule!

Our one hour ride is perfect for those who want a longer experience in the saddle while still finding the views quicker. A one hour ride allows you to trek throughout the hills to find peak views of the Bighorn Mountains.

Our two hour ride is perfect for those who are alright with being a little saddle sore. Though, it is definitely worth it with the breathtaking scenery you get to experience. Our two hour ride allows you to reach the historic triad teepee rings at the crest of our Badlands.
